We provide free online tools to merge, split, compress, convert, edit, sign, protect and otherwise work with PDF and related files. We may add, change, limit or remove tools or features at any time without notice. Free use is intended for normal personal and business tasks; reasonable limits on file size, number of files or frequency of use may apply.

3. Your files and responsibilities

• You keep all rights to the files you upload. We claim no ownership of your documents.
• You confirm that you own the files you upload or have permission to process them.
• You are responsible for the content of your files and for keeping your own backup copies.
• Files are deleted automatically after processing, as described in our Privacy Policy. Download your results promptly.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Process content that is illegal, infringes copyright or other rights, or contains malware.
• Remove passwords or protections from documents you are not authorised to access.
• Create forged, fraudulent or misleading documents.
• Overload, attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the website or its systems, or use automated means to access it without our written permission.
• Resell or redistribute the service as your own.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

5. Intellectual property

The website design, logo, text, graphics and code of PDF Tools Online belong to YourSelf Media and are protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Other brand names mentioned on the site, such as Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint, belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe file compatibility.
